Hello! I'm Sarah, the owner and creator behind Charlie Rose Clothing, based in the beautiful seaside town of St Ives, Cornwall.

At Charlie Rose Clothing, I personally craft each piece in my workshop. As a mother of two and a proud owner of a tuxedo cat named Lottie, I draw inspiration from my family and the stunning local landscape. I enjoy exploring the area; wild swimming, painting, running, and, of course, sewing.

The name "Charlie Rose" combines the middle names of my children, who motivate me to work hard and pursue my dreams. While it may sound cliché, my dedication to them fuels my passion for creating quality clothing.

​

My journey into sewing began as a hobby before my children were born. During maternity leave, I had the opportunity to fully embrace my creativity. As a highly sensitive person, I understand the importance of soft, comfortable clothing, especially when it comes to my children's needs. This realization sparked my journey into making custom soft jersey trousers for my son, who has specific sensory preferences.

I take great pride in selecting bright, colorful fabrics and using designs that promote movement and play. I believe that clothing should never restrict a child's activities, which is why I exclusively use stretchy cotton jersey fabrics.
